You’re right. Cause fat-shaming isn’t bad at all. It’s the internet, no big deal. 

so are we not allowed to even call people fat now without it being termed ‘fatshaming’ when in reality, there are people who are indeed fat and it’s a bit unfair to call them ‘curvy’ when they’re obviously more than that, but they’re not quite obese yet so…?

he was probably simply cracking a joke and then of course tumblr blows an harmless, off the cuff comment and turns it into something offensive.

Actually, people who have spent the majority of their lives being ostracised because of being fat, ‘turned it into something offensive’. 

We’ve always been a joke that gets brushed off and I reserve my fucking right to call someone on it every time.

you can’t go through life looking to be offended by things. all it’s going to do is give you a stress ulcer.

if i were to take everything as personally as you and others on here, i’d be telling people to shove off every five seconds. on the internet, it’s just. not. worth. it.

now if i were around actual people, then i might view things differently, but on a social media site all it does is make you look petty and snappish. of course i’m not okay with any kind of discrimination against others, but when you see these types of comments on your dash day in and day out with no thought whatsoever put into the possiblity that the original comment wasn’t meant maliciously, then it gets incredibly tedious.

Just to throw in my 2 cents here… I’ve been fat my whole life, and struggled with name calling my whole life. No I’m not “curvy” or “big boned” and no I’m not healthy, and if I let peoples “fat shaming” get to me my life would be hell… Fucking get over it, it’s the INTERNET, people say what they want because they can. If it bothers you go outside and socialize with people who are polite enough to keep they’re thoughts to themselves… Shit
